Oral health is one of the most important, and often overlooked, aspects of your overall health. The mouth can show signs of infection or disease before the other parts of the body. Great advances have been made in oral health treatments and many people are able to keep their natural teeth their entire lives. However, millions of people don’t visit a dentist regularly and miss the opportunity to identify and prevent oral health issues.
Lake Country Dental is committed to offering a full range of dentistry services. Whether you’ve had repairs or need a complete replacement, we recommend continual check-ups to assess your gums and bone density to assess the surrounding areas associated with your implant.

Periodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease as well as the process of replacing teeth with dental implants. Periodontists receive up to three years of additional, specialized training in treating periodontal disease and other conditions.
Periodontists are also specialists in treating oral inflammation and any condition requiring either non-surgical treatment or oral plastic surgery. Oftentimes, periodontists are treating conditions caused by periodontal disease and its effects such as persistent bad breath or gum recession.
Oral Surgery Services
Oral surgery encompasses procedures treating a wide array of diseases, injuries, and defects in the oral cavity. It is an internationally recognized medical specialty.
Our surgeons are knowledgeable and have received extensive training and education. We practice the highest standards of care and we also utilize cutting edge medical technology for our patients.
Some of the many procedures that fall under the category of oral surgery are removal of impacted teeth, insertion of dental implants, and cosmetic surgeries. We are also able to diagnose and treat certain conditions through oral surgery.
When we apply a dental sealant, we paint a plastic coating on top of your teeth. This makes your teeth smooth getting rid of the rough edges, depressions, and grooves that are commonly found on teeth. It is essentially a protective coating against tooth decay and cavities.
The most common place to paint sealants is on back teeth since they are often irregular. They can also be very hard to reach, even if you brush your teeth regularly. We use it more on children though we do perform sealants on adults too!
Here at Lake Country Dental, we are proud to offer dental implants for our patients.
Dental implants are roots placed in your mouth for either permanent teeth to be placed on or ones that you can remove.
Dental implants are done to improve a patient’s smile and usually their self esteem. Having missing or bad teeth can be quite embarrassing. Dental implants also can be done to improve oral health. Many people find it easier to eat with dental implants. Their speech can also be improved. They are also more comfortable because they are made to become permanent.
Here at Lake Country Dental, we are proud to offer dental examinations and X-Rays for our patients.
Regular dental examinations and X-Rays are the best way to ensure that you have a healthy smile. We start each examination with a professional cleaning so that we are able to examine your mouth and teeth closely. It is our goal to find and correct any problems before they become major ones!
We are dedicated to giving our patients the high quality care they deserve. We are proud to offer the latest technologies and equipment to keep their mouths healthy. One way we do this is by offering our patients the intraoral camera. They always say that a picture is worth a thousand words. We use our camera for just that reason.
Oral Cancer Screenings
Nobody wants to hear that they may have oral cancer. Although it can be fatal, it is easier to treat the earlier it is caught. For this reason, we are proud to assist our patients with an oral cancer screening. We want to help our patients survive this often fatal disease.
